The Open Sound Meter application provides an effective solution for real-time tuning of audio systems. It supports a comprehensive set of measurement functions essential for audio analysis, including:

Users have the capability to store measurement results, which may be further refined through adjustments in gain, delay, and polarity. The integrated mathematical function enables averaging of measurements, allowing users to effectively combine data and predict the resulting audio characteristics when mixed.

For enhanced accuracy, the application allows the application of calibration files specific to microphones. Compatibility with various iOS audio interfaces permits connection to mixing consoles. Projects can be conveniently saved either on the device or within iCloud.

The application ensures direct connectivity with several notable digital mixing consoles, including Behringer X32, Midas M32, Allen & Heath Qu, DiGiCo S21/S31/SD12/UB-MADI, and Yamaha TF, as long as they support audio over USB. For users of Yamaha CL/QL series, integration via a Dante AVIO adapter is an option.

On M1 devices, it is necessary to set the preferred audio interface as the default system audio input and output for optimal performance.
